Ekko & Sidetrack’s Top 5 Viper Releases

Viper Recordings “Drum & Bass Annual 2016” album features 18 of Viper’s biggest hit singles from 2015, as well as 6 new unreleased tracks, plus a brand new hour long DJ mix from InsideInfo.

If this is a sign of things to come, expect 2016 to be another banner year of huge singles, EP’s, and albums from #TeamViper.

We’ve caught up with Australian producers Ekko & Sidetrack to get to know their Top 5 Viper tracks of the year.

Climb High- Brookes Brothers & Danny Byrd

Whenever these 3 get together its always magic. This is no exception. Awesome vocals, wicked horn lead and vibes for days.

BMotion – Bear Hug

Bear Hug sounds like a big warm bassy hug from a bear…..but without getting your face ripped off

Pop it off – The Prototypes

This was a stand out from their album for us. Use of ragga style vocals is perfect and the striped back nature of the tune makes it a head turner.

Anthem – Brookes Brothers

Clearly we love the Brookes Brothers. Not only are they great guys, but I don’t think anyone does Jazz and Funk influenced drum and bass like them. Their music works on so many levels. I think we spend the entire duration of this song smiling every time we play it out.

Cyantific ft Benji – Colour in the Shadows

Cyantific has been a busy man this year and this one was a standout. Perfectly marries Benji Clements soulful vocals with a banging dancefloor vibe. Keep an eye on Benji I reckon too – man has an incredible voice!

Also check out Insideinfo’s mini mix.
