Flite – The Cure EP [Liquicity Records]

Liquicity Records is happy to introduce to you ‘The Cure EP’ by American producer and composer Flite.

Flite is no stranger to the Liquicity Records after appearing on the labels Alchemy & Galaxy of Dreams compilation series. But this, his debut solo EP on the label has allowed Flite to explore a more diverse creative space.

The EP’s title track kicks things off and makes the mission statement clear. Lush melodies, ethereal vocals and heavy drums are the order of the day here. Next up, ‘Cloud District’ is a fresh take on the ‘half-time’ tempo of the moment and plays like the soundtrack to a beautiful dream sequence in a big budget Hollywood block-buster. Track 3, ‘Be Still’ picks the pace back up and takes the vibes a little deeper with razor sharp production and rolling beats. To finish the EP off in epic style, ‘Earth Past’ once again opts for a half-time style and euphorically erupts through the speakers with up-lifting synths and robotic vocals.

Flite has had support on major platforms such as UKF & BBC Radio 1 along with releases on massive labels like Hospital and MrSuicidesheep. This EP will only strengthen his legacy and fan-base and its a perfect fit for Liquicity.

Liquicity have big plans for this year. With the next edition of their Escapism compilation and the biggest news of all, their Liquicity Festival in July. 2017 is going to be MASSIVE for the Drum & Bass multi-media powerhouse.
